Students of Master of Social Work Research, please register only for the seminar with Lars Alberth! Studierende des Master of Education im 1. Semester haben Zugang zu den Veranstaltungen "Teil 1". Studierende des Master of Science "Social Work Research" nur zum englischsprachigen Seminar mit Lars Alberth. Seminare des 3. Mastersemesters ("Teil 2") sind nur für Studierende, die im vorherigen Semester bereits Teil 1 besucht haben!

Inhaltliches
The class engages with various ways of how human service organizations create and use their pasts for the legitimacy of their own staffing, programming and decision-making. These selective approaches to past events and decisions by official history and organizational memories necessarily creates holes and absences and renders some of the past invisible and unaccountable. This leavesthe possibility for the forgotten and silenced voices and events to re-emerge as social ghosts that call for justice.
Students are expected to engage with human service organizations' archives to reconstruct how they selectively construct their own past and how that creates misrepresentations, silenced voices, and social ghosts.
