Sustainable M&E: Corporate Digital Responsibility
keine

This seminar will make students familiar with the emerging debate on "corporate digital responsibility" (CDR). In recent years, CDR has emerged as an umbrella term for the debate around responsible management of the digital transformation. In this seminar, we will first explore theories and concepts related to the term, and how businesses attempt to live up to societal expectations in the digital age! Then, students will develop creative, practical solutions for practical challenges along the CDR challenge 2025.
The course will combine lectures with interactive formats, group work and guest lectures.

After completion of this course, students will have learned to creatively come up with solutions related to CDR challenges. They also have an overview of the contemporary challenges of conducting responsible business in the digital age. They will be enabled to analyze these challenges from multiple theoretical viewpoints and in a critical-reflective way.

Students will be asked to develop their own CDR projects along the CDR Challenges 2025: The material provided for these projects will be in German, so sufficient language skills in reading German are required for the course.
