Wiederholungstermin: Zu dieser Prüfung wird kein Wiederholungstermin angeboten, da sie didaktisch untrennbar mit einer der zugeordneten Lehrveranstaltungen verbunden ist. Die Wiederholung der Prüfungsleistung ist somit erst bei erneutem Modulangebot möglich.

Inhaltliches
Since the 1980s, economics has developed more and more into an empirical science. After the first organizational meetings, students have to search for an empirical journal paper which will be presented in class (with additional information and MCs). Hence, students should have a good understanding of economics and econometric methods to present empirical papers from economics. Help will be provided in terms of selecting a paper, structuring the own presentation, and specific questions about econometric methods. Students are expected to attend all presentations.
Students will get a deeper understanding of econometric methods, interpretation of empirical findings, theoretical underpinning, critical evaluation, and conducting own empirical analysis. Students will learn how to read journal papers and how to present in oral communication as well as in visual presentation.
