Inhaltliches
This is a bi-weekly seminar where students will engage in problem-based learning (PBL) within interdisciplinary groups to develop innovative solutions for a practice partner. Through PBL, students will address a specific entrepreneurial challenge presented by a partnering organization, which will be disclosed during the initial session. This collaboration offers the opportunity for partnerships with sustainable or cultural organizations, enabling students to tailor solutions to diverse contexts.
The students will apply PBL principles to develop prototypes aimed at resolving the identified challenge and potentially expanding opportunities for the partnering organization. Throughout the course, students will immerse themselves in problem-based learning methodologies, cultivating entrepreneurial skills pertinent to various business contexts and real-world challenges.
Learning Goals:
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of sustainable practices or cultural entrepreneurship principles.
• Apply acquired knowledge and skills to address real-world challenges faced by sustainable organizations or cultural initiatives.
• Foster creativity and innovation in developing sustainable solutions or promoting cultural entrepreneurship.
• Engage in critical thinking and design processes to devise strategies for sustainability or cultural advancement.
• Generate innovative ideas aligned with the principles of sustainability or cultural entrepreneurship to address societal needs and opportunities.
• Develop prototypes or plans illustrating sustainable practices or cultural initiatives tailored to the context of practice partners.
• Evaluate the feasibility, impact, and ethical considerations of proposed sustainable solutions or cultural projects.
• Produce well-argued written reports assessing the strengths and weaknesses of sustainable solutions or cultural initiatives for practice partners.
Teaching Methods:
• Interactive lectures and collaborative group work sessions will facilitate the learning and application of sustainability or cultural entrepreneurship concepts.
• Utilization of online platforms for communication and knowledge sharing among students and instructors.
