Inhaltliches
This course lis a fully project-driven course in which students independently design, build, and test smart sensor systems. The course does not include traditional lectures; instead, students work in small teams throughout the semester to develop a complete hardware-software solution. Projects are selected or proposed by the students and must involve the integration of physical sensors with embedded systems, signal acquisition and processing, and the application of AI models for classification or prediction tasks. Typical projects may include wearable health monitors, smart environmental sensors, or activity recognition systems.
* Explore Various Sensor Types: Educate students on the different types of smart sensors, such as temperature, pressure, proximity, optical, and chemical sensors, and their specific applications.
* Explain how smart sensors operate, including data acquisition, processing, and transmission.
* Discuss Real-World Applications: Provide examples of how smart sensors are used in industries like IoT, healthcare, automotive, and environmental monitoring.
* Practice the greater knowledge in real application
