The module introduces students to key methods of conducting research in applied fields of psychology. It conveys influential, societally relevant empirical findings and underlying theories, and elaborates numerous key applications across the wide spectrum of societal fields in which psychology plays a role.
Students know how psychological science is defined, how it works, and how it can be used to exert deliberate transformative effects on our society and numerous challenges of the 21st century (e.g., climate crisis, democracy concerns, artificial intelligence, etc.).
