Research Methods in Psychology and Management

The course provides an introduction to statistical methods in psychological and management research. The course covers quantitative methods, including research designs, psychometric properties of tests, and statistical analyses of mediation and moderation. Furthermore, the course provides an introduction to developing theoretical models and concepts, operationalizing of constructs, selecting appropriate statistical procedures, and running statistical analyses using R software. Basic knowledge in descriptive and inferential statistics is required.

The aim of the course is to provide skills in research design and in statistical analyses with a focus on quantitative methods to address research questions in psychology and management.
