The students learn theories, methods, and practical skills to successfully accomplish the entrepreneurial process based on the action theory process model of entrepreneurship. Specifically, the students learn concepts and methods to (1) identify business opportunities, (2) evaluate business opportunities, and (3) exploit business opportunities to create a new venture.
The goal is that students develop a theoretical understanding of the actions, processes, and dynamics underlying entrepreneurship. Specifically, the students learn the mechanisms and boundary conditions relevant for opportunity identification, opportunity evaluation, and opportunity exploitation. They learn to apply different theoretical perspectives to understand the phenomenon of entrepreneurship. Furthermore, they are able to apply the theoretical perspectives to accomplish the entrepreneurial process.
- Entrepreneurship (Ma-IBAE-9, 5 CP): last offer in summer semester 2026.
- Elective: Entrepreneurship (Ma-IBAE-20, 5 CP): last offer in summer semester 2026.
- If the modules Entrepreneurship (Ma-IBAE-9, 5 CP) and/or Elective: Entrepreneurship (Ma-IBAE-20, 5 CP) have not been completed by the summer semester 2026, the module Perspectives on Entrepreneurship (MA-IBAE-21, 10 CP) must be taken.
