We will contextualize child development in an evolutionary and cross-cultural framework and focus on cognitive abilities that allow children to become healthy and functioning members of the society they grow up in.
Textbook: Tamis-LeMonda, C. S. (2022). Child Development: Context, Culture, and Cascades. Oxford University Press.
Students learn about methods, theories and studies of child development.
