Under the lecturer's supervision, students exchange ideas on research approaches and topics. In particular, current research from the participating mentors' working groups or the cohort itself is presented weekly.
Critical and interdisciplinary reflection is at the centre of the course. In the process, the students learn and try out subject-specific presentation techniques such as flash talks, posters, and long talks.
After completing the module courses, students will have a basic understanding of disciplinary and interdisciplinary research methods and will be able to analyse and interpret them. They will be able to present scientific findings and classify different scientific working methods in an interdisciplinary manner. In addition, they will be able to identify the opportunities and challenges of interdisciplinary work and communicate their professional perspectives clearly.
