The registration is restricted to the following fields or courses of study:

• Leuphana Bachelor / Major Global Environmental and Sustainability Studies (bis Studienbeginn WiSe 25/26) / nur ab Semester 3
• Leuphana Bachelor / Major Studium Individuale / nur ab Semester 3
• Leuphana Bachelor / Minor Studium Individuale / nur ab Semester 3

In the laboratory exercises, experiments on topics that are typical for sustainable and organic (environmental) chemistry will be conducted to gain a deeper knowledge of the content of the lecture and demonstrate the character of experimental science.

- Acquire practical skills and basic techniques in a chemistry lab
- Gain experience in handling chemicals and laboratory safety
- Understanding basic chemistry issues
- Become skilled in precisely observing and documenting experiments
- Proper evaluation and discussion of the experiments and their results
- Scientific documentation through keeping a laboratory journal.
