Content and concept

Case studies in Sustainability Management provide learning tutorials that complement the material taught in the main lecture “Fundamentals of Sustainability Management”. Over the course of the semester, these tutorials will cover 5 case studies on key topics of sustainability management: including CSR, sustainability marketing, sustainable entrepreneurship, stakeholder management, business case for sustainability and sustainability strategies. Each student will contribute to all case studies.

The case studies will be prepared and presented by the students through group work. Students will be allotted into one of six groups and meet every two weeks during their respective case study time slot.

Objective

Improved understanding and application of the material provided in the “Fundamentals of Sustainability Management” lectures through practical examples.

Other

The tutorial is a part of the “Fundamentals of Sustainability Management” course. Completion of the group assignments is mandatory for the course work (“Studienleistung”).
