This course focuses primarily on corporate valuation and provides students with a deep understanding of how to assess the value of companies using established financial theories and models. The course explores discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation, relative valuation, and value creation analysis. Students will learn how to interpret financial statements in the context of valuation, forecast free cash flows, determine appropriate discount rates, and apply valuation techniques to both public and private firms. The course emphasizes practical application through real-life case studies and financial modeling.
Students will acquire the skills to conduct comprehensive corporate valuations, assess value drivers, and critically evaluate investment decisions. The course strengthens analytical, financial modeling, and decision-making competencies.
